I am still very disappointed with fable. The games have always been about CHOICE. Choice is the biggest thing, affecting the games in major ways, but what disappoints me most is that there is no option between playing as a male of female. It doesn't bother me that the protagonist is a female, it bothers me that there is no CHOICE. Just be this alone it makes me worried that choice might not be very important in the game. We'll see when it releases though.

I think I'm in the minority, but while the gears trailer was good I think it's a little disappointing that we're just treading old ground instead of moving the story forward. I'm sure it's going to be really fun but I'm usually looking to see the story continue rather than just treading old ground.

I know that Dragon Age seemed like an L but I am excited to revisit Thedas after such a long time. I'm also more appreciative of them moving away from open-world for a more focused experience. Diablo 4 expansion was hype as well.

Devil's Advocate here, if you thought the tone of the trailer for Dragon Age was bad. Look at some of the trailers for Origins. Their trailers have never matched the tone of the games and have always been pretty bad.

When RDR2 was announced, people doubted it or even straight up berated it because nothing would compare to RDR1. Now RDR2 is the fan favorite and Arthur is considered one of the greatest game protagonists of all time. Anything is possible with RDR3
